Investment calculators
Explore contributions, withdrawals and investment returns. Choose XIRR for dated cash flows, or CAGR for a single starting and ending value.
- SIP Calculator
The invested amount is your contributions; the gain or loss is the difference from the projected value. Try a lower return as well as your central estimate. This is a constant-return scenario, not a prediction of fund performance.
- Lumpsum Calculator
Use this for one initial investment with no later cash flows. The projected gain is before any charges and taxes. Compare the future amount with inflation separately when considering purchasing power.
- SWP Calculator
Compare total withdrawals with the remaining balance. A high withdrawal can exhaust the fund, even with a positive assumed return. Actual fluctuating returns can cause depletion earlier or later than a constant-return projection.
- Mutual Fund Returns Calculator
Absolute return measures the overall gain; CAGR expresses an equivalent steady annual growth rate. Neither describes volatility. If you added or withdrew money along the way, use XIRR with dated cash flows instead.
- XIRR Calculator
Use money leaving your pocket as negative and money received as positive. Include a final portfolio valuation as a receipt if you want to measure a holding you still own. XIRR annualizes the dated cash flows; it does not forecast the next year.
