SIP Calculator
Estimate future value, invested amount, and wealth gained from monthly SIP investments.
Break-up
How to read this sip calculator
The invested amount is your contributions; the gain or loss is the difference from the projected value. Try a lower return as well as your central estimate. This is a constant-return scenario, not a prediction of fund performance.
Worked example
₹1,000 each month for one year at 0% gives ₹12,000 invested and ₹12,000 projected value. At an effective annual 12%, beginning-of-month contributions give approximately ₹12,766.50.
Method and assumptions
The monthly growth factor is (1 + annual return) raised to 1/12. Each month adds the contribution before growth. An end-of-month contribution convention would give a different result.
Contributions arrive at the beginning of each month. The entered return is an effective annual return, converted to an equivalent monthly rate. Negative returns above −100% are supported. Returns stay constant; fees, taxes and inflation are excluded.
