PPF Calculator
Estimate Public Provident Fund maturity value for yearly investments.
Break-up
How to read this ppf calculator
Read the result as a projected balance over the selected years, not a promised maturity date. It assumes the annual deposit qualifies for a full year of interest. A fixed input rate cannot predict future administered rates.
Worked example
A hypothetical ₹10,000 deposit at the start of each eligible year and a fixed 10% rate produces ₹11,000 after year one and ₹23,100 after year two. This example rate is for arithmetic, not a quoted scheme rate.
Method and assumptions
Add the annual deposit, calculate annual interest and round that interest to whole rupees. Actual monthly eligibility and account-opening dates matter for real statements.
This is a balance projection, not a maturity-date calculator. An equal annual deposit is assumed credited by April 5, with a constant user-entered rate and interest rounded to whole rupees at each financial year end. The account-opening financial year, withdrawals and rate changes are not modeled. PPF maturity is measured from the end of the opening financial year; a selected 15-year horizon does not establish an account’s maturity date. Official PPF scheme.
